Cell death induced by CdS-MD nanoparticles in MDA-MB-231 cells. Cells were treated with CdS-MD nanoparticles (1.64-14.76 nM) for 24 h and stained with AO/EtBr staining and analyzed using fluorescence microscopy (100X). Cells exposed to 1μL/mL of 30% H₂O₂ for 2 h were used as apoptosis control and non-treated cells were used as negative control. These are representative results of at least three independent experiments (n = 3).
