From: Evaluation of the microbial growth response to inorganic nanoparticles
Dynamic light scattering measurements of PEG modified Au nanoparticles (â—†) and iron oxide composite nanoparticles (â– ) measured during a time course of 6 hours in LB media. During this run, the Au particles remained stable and showed little change in hydrodynamic radius. The iron oxide nanoparticles, however, were less stable as indicated by their increasing size.
