Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) of DPPC/Ag-decanethiol nanoparticle assemblies as a function of nanoparticle loading. The AgNP SPR peak was used to confirm was measured by UV-vis spectroscopy in DPPC/AgNP vesicle suspensions (0.6 mM DPPC) at (a) 25 and (b) 50°C as a function of the DPPC/AgNP ratio, 200:1 to 2:1 (w/w). These temperatures correspond to gel and fluid phase bilayers, respectively. Normalized absorbance values are presented relative to λ300 nm.
