  1. The designation of NP name used in this table is used throughout the text. NPs size was determined by determining the size distribution of NPs in TEM images (N = 3, ±SEM). Zeta potential was measured in the colloidal solutions of the NPs after synthesis at a pH of 7 for the citrate coated NPs and a pH of 5 for the chitosan coated NPs.
