Gene silencing efficiency in vitro. Silencing of GAPDH gene in CHO-K1 cells was evaluated by quantitative real time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). GAPDH siRNA concentration was 50 nM. Lipo was the positive control, and scrambled siRNA was used as the negative control. Results are expressed as mean ± standard deviation (n = 3). *P value <0.05, the gene silencing efficiency at a molar ratio of 40/1 in a serum free environment is significantly different from the other treatments.
