CN3080 Nanotraps bind Yersinia bacteria and enhance nucleic acid yield. a Following bacterial binding to CN3080s, bacteria were pulled down by magnetic rack and plated. The magnetic pellet was washed 1 or 3 times and plated to calculated CFU/mL. No significant decrease in CFU/mL was determined with repeated washes. b Following overnight incubation at 40 °C with CN3080s, a significant (P < 0.05) decrease in CFU was found relative to without CN3080s. Nucleic acid yield was significantly improved (P < 0.005) with use of CN3080s
