Jonathan F. Lovell is an Empire Innovation Professor of Biomedical Engineering at University at Buffalo. He received his PhD from the Institute for Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering at University of Toronto in 2012. His pioneering discoveries of porphyrin-phospholipid (PoP) and cobalt-PoP nanoparticles laid the groundwork for advanced imaging and therapeutic techniques.
