Suggested mechanism of NK cell therapy with the ferumoxytol mediated ferroptosis. Imbalance of iron metabolism in the prostate cancer cells induces ferroptosis. Resulting ferroptosis induces expression of ULBPs and PD-L1 with immunogenic cell death. Nanoparticles mediated ferroptosis and NK cell therapy synergistically enhances the cancer cell killing effect in prostate cancer
