Preparation of biotechnological hydroxyapatite. During preparation, the top surface of the small intestinal submucosa membrane was maintained in contact with K2HPO4 solution, while the lower surface was kept in contact with the Ca(CH3COO)2 solution. After incubation for 10 days at 37 °C, the entire submucosa membrane with hydroxyapatite was peeled off and analyzed by scanning electron microscopy.
