MiR-26b-3p overexpression was identified via miRNA high-throughput sequencing and RT-qPCR, and miR-26b-3p showed high diagnostic efficiency in ISS children. A, B Thirteen differentially expressed miRNAs were identified, including 6 upregulation and 7 downregulation. C, D GO and KEGG analyses were employed for further enriching the 13 differentially expressed miRNA. E To double-check the veracity, the top three upregulated miRNA s were chosen. The greatest significant difference was detected in miR-26b-3p. F An AUC of 0.823 (95% CI, 0.754 – 0.892) was observed. MiR-26B-3P, with the best cutoff point of > 1.173, had a specificity of 71.4% and a sensitivity of 85.7% in discriminating children with ISS from normal control children. The data are presented as the mean ± SD. n = 3. ***P < 0.001 vs. control
