Panx1-targeting nanobodies reduce the serum levels of inflammatory cytokines in acetaminophen-overdosed mice. Adult mice were overdosed with acetaminophen (APAP) (300 mg/kg) or kept untreated (UTC). After 2 h, some mice were additionally administered either nanobody (Nb1, Nb3, Nb9 or non-targeting Nb (10 mg/kg) or N-acetylcysteine (NAC) (200 mg/kg). Sampling was performed 24 h after APAP overdosing. Serum cytokine levels were measured using chemiluminescence detection and densitometric analysis. Cytokine levels were normalised and expressed as relative alterations compared to APAP mice. Data are presented in a heat map with a colour scale highlighting low values in blue and high values in red (n = 3 independent experiments)
